by Ferréol Babin
After obtaining a degree in interior design (ENSA), Ferréol Babin did a stint in Japan where he refined his taste for object design.
He then went on to work with designer Robert Stadler and spent a year in residency at Benetton’s La Fabrica under Sam Baron. Returning to France, he carved out his own striking and functional style.
The shelves from the surface Collection are formed from randomly-shaped plates that seem barely to touch each other. Their colors, soft angles, and thin surface make these objects functional and useful, as well as discreet and captivating.
Attached to the wall, these shelves work on their own or in clusters, punctuating a room with small clouds of color where you can showcase vases, books, plants, and travel souvenirs.
Available in small and large in the following colors: first snow, cotton candy, Venetian sky, Atlantic lagoon, and Paris cobblestone.
